Gray Stewart explores Atlanta and its environs across the 20th century in his first novel is Haylow. He holds a B.A. in Journalism & Mass Communication from the University of Georgia and earned his MFA in Creative Writing from Louisiana State University. He spent more than a decade on the faculty of Morehouse College, a historically African American men’s college, where he led the fiction workshop from 2000-2010. A Fulbright beneficiary and a Hambidge Fellow, he currently teaches in the English department at Georgia State University Perimeter College.
